The concept of Handy Heroes was formed nearly 10 years ago as the founders, Richard Hughes and Matthew Hammond were transitioning from their careers as Royal Marines Officers. They wanted to bring some of the values drilled in during service life into the construction industry.

From this idea Handy Heroes Ltd was founded and employed largely skilled ex-military tradespeople and project managers to deliver thousands of maintenance and construction projects across London. However following sucessive lockdowns due to COVID-19 the decision was made to disband our maintenance team and focus on development activity.
We are pround to have been presented with a Gold Award from the MOD as recognition of the employment opportunities given to Veterans and Armed Forces Reserve personnel, an achievement that was also recognised by the Telegraph.
Handy Heroes Ltd is now focusing on larger development projects which are typically carried out on vacant properties for investors, developers and joint venture partners. You can view some of these projects here

Following the success delivery of some large scale construction projects for end users and having built up a wealth of experience in planning policy, building regulations and current design trends Handy Heroes Developments was formed to deliver a return on investment to investors.
We have continued to grow this side of the business and now complete a number of projects annually that generate great returns for our investors.
